Job Description
CSIR Innovation Award for School Children (CIASC-2016)
Instituted by Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) a premier Industrial R&D Organization of India for building awareness, interest and motivation for Intellectual Property.The aim is to support scientific temperament and to generate innovative spirit amongst school children.
Award : CSIR invites students to send their original creative technological and design ideas in the form of proposal for the competition for CSIR Innovation Award for School Children (CIASC-2o16).
Eligibility : Any lndian student below the age of 38 years as on 1st January, 2016 and enrolled in an Indian school can apply. A student or a group of students creating an invention together can make only one entry.
Prizes
There are In all 15 prizes. Besides a Certificate, the Cash Ands are:
First Prize (1 No.) Rs. 1,00,000;-
Second Prize (2 Not) Rs. 50,000/- each
Third Prize (3 Nos.) Rs. 30,000/- each
Fourth Prize (4 Not) Rs. 20,000/- each
Fifth Prize (5 Not) Rs. I 0,000i- each
It Is not mandatory that al above I5 prizes for the award would born.
Selection : Through screening and evaluation, the best so students will be shortlisted. These screened shortlisted students will be provided training-cum-awareness related to IPR by the Innovation Protection Unit (IPU) of CSIR. Students may be accompanied by teachers during training programme to be held in Delhi, on 26th April, 2016 (WIPO Day). Training would be for two days on 26th and 27th April, 2026
