Job Description

Key Responsibilities for AC Technician:

Installation

Install VRV/VRF systems as per manufacturer guidelines and project requirements.
Perform piping, wiring, and ducting as required for system setup.
Ensure proper mounting and commissioning of indoor and outdoor units.

Maintenance and Servicing

Conduct routine maintenance, including cleaning, checking refrigerant levels, and testing system functionality.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to ensure efficient system operation.
Replace faulty components and ensure optimal performance.

Repair

Identify and repair mechanical, electrical, or refrigerant-related issues in VRV/VRF systems.
Test repaired systems to ensure proper functionality.
Maintain records of repairs and parts used.

Customer Interaction

Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues, repair processes, and provide preventive maintenance tips.
Offer excellent service and build long-term client relationships.

Compliance and Safety

Adhere to safety standards and protocols during all installations and repairs.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the work site.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in VRV/VRF system installation, maintenance, and repair.
Education: ITI/Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent certification.
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in VRV/VRF systems (e.g., Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG, Samsung).
Knowledge of refrigerants (R410A, R32, etc.) and HVAC tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and customer service abilities.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

Additional Requirements:

Valid driver’s license (preferred).
Flexibility to travel to client locations.
Physically fit to work in varying environments and conditions.
