Job Description
Responsibilities
Assess students' academic strengths, weaknesses, and interests to determine their educational goals
Provide guidance and support to students in developing realistic academic plans
Help students explore and understand available educational programs and career opportunities
Assist students in selecting appropriate courses and extracurricular activities
Monitor students' academic progress and provide intervention when necessary
Coordinate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure students' academic success
Provide support and guidance to students facing challenges in their academic journey
Stay up to date with educational trends and resources to provide accurate and relevant information to students
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or related field
Proven experience working as an Academic Counselor or similar role
Solid understanding of educational systems and curriculum
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders
Knowledge of career counseling and college admissions processes
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
