Job Description

Overview:

The Admission Counsellor plays a key role in guiding prospective students and their families through the admission process for educational institutions such as schools, colleges, or universities. This role involves assisting with inquiries, providing information about programs, courses, and admissions criteria, and helping students make informed decisions about their education. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of the institution’s offerings, and the ability to build positive relationships with prospective students.

· Counsel students and apprising them with program features and curriculum

· Clarify and handle questions pertaining to course, program selection and career planning

· Having discussions with parents/other counsellors and clarifying their doubts

· Work with the marketing team to help them drive more traffic and generate more leads, based on your feedback

· Maintaining MIS reports

Skills:

· Very good communication skills, fluent in the required language (as per the below table)

· Must be a self-starter and should be able to work with minimum guidance

· Attitude to work in a start-up environment

· Experience of working with an education company is preferred
