1. Record keeping: Enter transactions, maintain the general ledger, and reconcile accounts
2. Financial reporting: Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow forecasts.
3. Training: Train staff on accounting software and processes.
4. Problem solving: Investigate accounting irregularities and mistakes.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and examine financial records and statements for accuracy.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Prepare and file tax returns in a timely manner.
Conduct internal and external audits to determine financial accuracy and compliance.
Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.
Create and analyze budgets and financial forecasts.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation.
