Job Title: Accountant

Client: Shaiksh and Associates CA Firm

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Salary Range: ₹25,000 to ₹70,000 per month

Experience: 3-5 years in a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm

Job Overview: Shaiksh and Associates is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant with a strong background in accounting, GST, and tax audits. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in a CA firm, with the ability to handle all basic accounting functions effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting: Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and financial statement preparation.

• GST Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns, GST reconciliations, and handling GST-related queries and notices.

• Tax Audits: Assist in the preparation and execution of tax audits, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.

• Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.

• Reconciliations: Perform regular bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

• Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

• Support to Auditors: Provide necessary documentation and support to auditors during the audit process.

• General Ledger Maintenance: Ensure the general ledger is accurately maintained and updated.

• Communication: Liaise with clients, vendors, and tax authorities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience working in a Chartered Accountant firm.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks), MS Excel, and familiarity with tax filing software.

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST laws, and tax audit procedures.

• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and compliance.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
