Accounts and Customer Service Representative
Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Accounts and Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, resolving inquiries via phone, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Answer incoming customer calls promptly and professionally.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide accurate information regarding products, services, and accounts.
- Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude towards customers at all times.
- Document all customer interactions and inquiries in the company's CRM system.
- Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved and they are satisfied.
- Accounts Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account information.
- Process customer payments, adjustments, and refunds.
- Generate and send invoices and statements to customers.
- Monitor account balances and identify discrepancies.
- Assist with account reconciliation and reporting.
- Assist with collections on overdue accounts.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions and account activities.
- Generate reports on customer inquiries and account status.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in customer service and/or accounts management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and CRM software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in common office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, etc.)
