Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate with a strong foundation in accounting principles who is eager to start their career in the accounting field. As an Accounts Executive, you will be responsible for assisting with daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the finance team in various accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Support the finance team in reconciling bank statements and managing accounts payable/receivable.
- Help with the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements.
- Assist in the processing of payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
- Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with local regulations.
- Perform data entry tasks and maintain the integrity of the accounting database.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance accounting skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A willingness to learn and grow in the accounting field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship experience in accounting or finance (not mandatory).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) is a plus.
