Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Agency Sales Manager to join our team in the insurance sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of insurance agents, driving sales growth, and ensuring the achievement of revenue targets. This role involves both strategic planning and hands-on management of agency operations to grow the company’s market share.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales Leadership: Lead and manage a team of insurance agents, providing guidance, motivation, and coaching to drive performance and meet sales targets.
- Recruitment and Training: Recruit, onboard, and train new agents, ensuring they understand the company's products, policies, and sales processes.
- Agency Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, ensuring they are supported in achieving their sales goals.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share, improve customer acquisition, and drive revenue growth.
- Target Achievement: Monitor and analyze sales performance regularly, set individual agent targets, and ensure the team meets or exceeds sales goals.
- Client Relationship Management: Oversee the acquisition of new clients through the agency, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and opportunities for management review.
- Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns that attract new customers and support agent-led initiatives.
- Compliance & Regulations: Ensure agents adhere to all legal, regulatory, and company policies in selling insurance products.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for agents and take corrective actions as needed to meet objectives.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends and changes in insurance products to ensure agents are knowledgeable and competitive in the market.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field. A professional qualification in insurance (e.g., LIC, CFP) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-3+ years in sales, with at least 1 years in insurance sales or agency management.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing and motivating a sales team, with a focus on achieving targets and driving performance.
- Insurance Knowledge: Strong understanding of insurance products, sales processes, and the regulatory environment.
- Sales Expertise: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies that lead to measurable growth.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with both clients and agents.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze sales data, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities, set clear goals, and meet deadlines effectively.
