Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Identifying issues

Visiting clients to identify and evaluate their business needs. This can include issues with animal nutrition, pest control, disease control, and harvesting practices.

Developing strategies

Collaborating with clients to develop new strategies for production. This can include advising on the best types of seeds to use, how to improve soil, and how to keep and feed livestock.

Providing training

Organizing and conducting training sessions and demonstrations for clients, colleagues, and other interested groups.

Collecting and analyzing data

Gathering, reviewing, and reporting on data, crop yield, and financial reports to measure performance.

Writing reports

Writing advisory leaflets, technical notes, and possibly press releases and articles.

Managing programs

Tracking performance, validating project costs, and ensuring the completion of all administrative and reporting requirements.
