Aluminium Formwork Design Engineer

Job Location: Chakan, Pune

Experience:– 1 to 8 years in Aluminium Formwork & AutoCAD
Qualification :- BE Civil / Diploma(Civil) / Mechanical Engineer.
SALARY:- 35000 to 55000 pm (Gross)
Gender:- MALE/ FEMALE
Company Weekly off :- Sunday
Jd : Drawing and Shell Plan / Fabrication Drawing/Modulation Drawing / Sheet metal planning/ Layout / Elevation drawings.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Aluminium Formwork Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, analyzing, and developing aluminum formwork solutions for construction projects. The role involves collaborating with project teams to provide efficient and effective formwork systems that support concrete structures while ensuring cost savings, safety, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Formwork Design: Design customized aluminium formwork systems for construction projects, ensuring they meet the project’s technical requirements, safety standards, and cost constraints.
Structural Analysis: Conduct structural analysis to assess the strength and stability of the aluminium formwork systems, ensuring that they can withstand the weight and pressure of poured concrete.
Material Selection: Choose appropriate aluminum materials and other components for formwork based on strength, durability, and project-specific needs.
Project Collaboration: Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and construction managers to understand project specifications and develop formwork solutions tailored to each project.
Cost Optimization: Develop cost-effective formwork designs that maximize material usage and minimize waste. Ensure that the formwork is reusable and can be efficiently assembled and disassembled.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure that all formwork designs comply with local building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Drafting & Documentation: Prepare detailed design drawings, technical specifications, and installation guidelines for formwork systems. Use CAD software to produce 2D and 3D designs.
Prototyping & Testing: Oversee the prototyping and testing of formwork systems to ensure their functionality and durability before full-scale implementation on-site.
Site Support: Provide technical support to the construction site team during the formwork installation, inspection, and adjustments to resolve any issues that may arise during construction.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that the formwork is fabricated according to the design specifications, and oversee quality control checks on the finished product.
Training: Provide training and guidance to the construction crew on the safe handling, assembly, and disassembly of aluminum formwork systems.
Project Reporting: Track project progress and prepare regular reports on formwork design status, budget compliance, and any issues encountered during installation.
