Job Description – Animal Program Coordinator
Reports To - Project Lead
Job Summary - We are seeking a passionate Zoology candidate to join our team as an Animal Program Coordinator. This position involves promoting a dedicated animal safety app and web platform to enhance public awareness, engagement and responsible stray management. The candidate can combine their zoological knowledge with strong outreach and communication skills to improve the welfare of stray animals.
Key Responsibilities
● To act as a key advocate for animal safety app and web platform by educating communities about its purpose and benefits
● To conduct outreach activities to promote the use of app for reporting, rescuing and tracking stray animals
● To collaborate with NGOs, Animal Welfare Groups & Municipalities to encourage the app adoption
● To collect and analyze feedback from app users to identify areas of improvement and report insights to the team.
Required Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Zoology, Animal Science, Veterinary Science or Environmental Science
● Previous experience in animal shelters, wildlife rehabilitation, community outreach or animal welfare projects
Skills & Competencies
● Strong understanding about animal welfare practices
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse communities.
● Ability to advocate effectively and passionately for stray animal welfare app promotion.
● Comfortable using digital tools and mobile applications
● Strong observational and problem-solving skills
● Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors and in shelter environments
● Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
