Your Role and Responsibilities
As Application Consultant Azure Cloud Modernization, you will be working on Azure based applications and solutions. you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
As Application Consultant Azure Cloud Modernization, you will be working on Azure based applications and solutions. you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Design Logic Apps for Email alerts for pipeline failures, BLOB and ADLS alerts.
- Follow the Naming rules for all the Resources/Activities.
- Implement Data Factory framework for complex scenarios.
- Pipeline execution methods (Debug vs Triggers).
- Create the Auto Schedules for executing the pipelines using the Triggers.
- Overview on creation of Azure Databricks and creation of Notebooks.
- Monitor and manage Azure Data Factory.
- Extensively used Flat-Files, XML, JSON and Excel files data for loading data into target systems.
- Work on AZCopy and ADLCopy.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Minimum 3-4 years relevant experience in developing pipelines in Azure Data Factory
- Proficient in SQL with an ability to understand how data is stored (schema/FileShare) in source and document it.
- Experience to estimate work packages, based on WBS or any other technique and document it.
- Expertise to create new ADF instances and install IR on cloud & on-prem machines and connect it.
- Ability to ‘develop new’/’enhance existing’/’test’ and ’deploy’ pipelines/linked services/data sets/etc as per business need and document it.
- Experience in monitoring existing flows, troubleshoot issues, and make knowledge database
- Hands-on experience in Data Factory Core Concept's (Datasets, Pipelines and Activities, Scheduling and Execution)
- Extensively Worked on Copy Data activity and Get Metadata Activity, look up, Store procedure, for each, IF, Delete and execute Pipeline activities.
- Good to have Azure development hands-on (MR, Spark, etc) experience. • Should have worked on ADLS, Blob, IR, Vnet, Subnets, SQL DB, Service Principals, etc.
- Experience to connect ADF with source and document it
- Experience to propose/implement ADF best practices and document it
- Experience in development, production support, defect fixing, Unit testing.
- Hands-on knowledge on SparkML/tensorflow/pytorch/XGBoost.
- Valid understanding of database design, 3NF, Azure CosmosDB
- Knowledge on Data Extraction from On-Premise Sources and Delta Extraction methods from Source Systems to ADLS
- Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources.
- Good exposer to Azure SQL Database, Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake Storage and Data Lake Analytics (USQL).
