Job Description

Candidates must have fire in the belly to achieve the sales target & having  expertise in B2B marketing. This is purely a field sales job. Candidates are required to do Shop to Shop retailing & must be capable of appointing distributors in different areas.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Distribution Management:

  1. B2B Sales Target Achievement:

    • Drive B2B sales through direct retailing (shop-to-shop) by identifying and targeting local businesses in the assigned area.

    • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly/yearly sales targets for retail and distributor appointments.

  2. Distributor Appointment:

    • Identify and appoint potential distributors in different areas to expand the product reach.

    • Build and maintain relationships with distributors to ensure consistent product supply and market penetration.

  3. Client Relationship Management:

    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors to maximize sales opportunities.

    • Regularly visit key accounts and partners to understand their needs and provide necessary support.

Market Development & Expansion:

  1. Territory Management:

    • Take ownership of the assigned geographical area, ensuring proper coverage and sales execution.

    • Identify new business opportunities and untapped markets within the area to maximize sales and brand presence.

  2. Shop-to-Shop Retailing:

    • Perform field visits to retail outlets and stores to sell the company’s products directly to shop owners and retailers.

    • Provide product demonstrations, ensure product placement, and work to achieve the sales targets through shop visits.

  3. Market Intelligence:

    • Collect and analyze market data to identify trends, competitor activity, customer preferences, and other factors that can influence sales strategies.

    • Use insights to adapt sales tactics and improve product offering to meet the demands of local businesses.

Sales Execution & Reporting:

  1. Sales Planning & Execution:

    • Develop and execute sales plans and strategies for the assigned area to increase market share.

    • Plan daily or weekly routes for shop-to-shop visits and distributor meetings to ensure maximum productivity.

  2. Sales Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions, new distributor appointments, and sales volumes.

    • Provide regular reports to the Regional Sales Manager on performance, market trends, and competitive activity.

Product Knowledge & Training:

  1. Product Knowledge:

    • Stay up-to-date with the company’s products, features, and benefits to effectively communicate with potential customers.

    • Ensure that customers and distributors are well-informed about the products and any new offerings.

  2. Training and Support:

    • Provide necessary product and sales training to newly appointed distributors or retailers.

    • Assist the distributors with marketing strategies and sales initiatives to enhance their performance.

Customer Service & Issue Resolution:

  1. Customer Support:

    • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any queries, complaints, or issues raised by distributors or retailers promptly.

    • Serve as a point of contact for troubleshooting or resolving any operational issues that may arise with distributors or clients.

  2. Problem Solving:

    • Identify and resolve any challenges faced by distributors or retailers, such as product stock-outs, delayed deliveries, or issues with payments.
