Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Ø Create and implement plans to dispose of hardware assets before they convert into liabilities.
Ø Develop and maintain strong relationships with different departments such as engineering, supply chain and legal partners to ensure clear communication and delivery of quality services.
Ø Explore different opportunities to maximize and exploit unused or partially used information technology hardware assets in order to receive full efficiency and return on investments.
Ø Provide support for the creation of asset management processes, such as routine inventory with existing and new solutions.
Ø Develop and implement procedures and policies to ensure that the company is following IT asset deployment and replacement policies.
Ø Plan, monitor and procure client-based hardware assets to ensure compliance with policies and protocols.
Ø Develop and implement procedures to track clients’ information technology assets to oversee quality control throughout their life cycles, whether purchased or leased.
Ø Evaluate vendor hardware pricing model options and maintenance programs to
ensure that total costs of ownerships are maintained.
Ø Assist in the tracking and management of all IT assets throughout its operating life.
Ø Ascertain that IT assets remain productive and cost efficient, even when depreciation begins to set in
