Job Description

JD for Assistant Manager Overseas BD and Freight Forwarding

· Administrating of Office.

· Supply chain management (Door to warehouse/Warehouse to Warehouse/ etc.,)

· Handling project shipments along with any types of cargo by Sea, Air, Rail, Road, etc.

· Freight negotiation with various shipping lines, Air lines, IATA agents,

· Arrangement of domestic’s transportation & warehousing of export & import cargos,

· All types of service to customers such as custom clearance, freight, transportation,

· Handling various formalities, shipping, documentation for clearance of consignments & logistics,

· Carrying out overseas communication with principal and agents for rate, services, freight etc.,

· Handling the process of booking the cargo to various destinations in the world. (Air,Sea,FCL,LCL,)

· Efficient logistics management system, conducting market survey, finalising rate contracts to ensure delivery of finished goods as per committed timeline and cost.

· Attending personal hearings in customs/ excise on behalf of exporters & importers,

· Drafting letter to customs, DGFT, excise or any Government bodies for matters related to import, export, shipping, logistics & custom clearance.
