Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Back Office Assistant to support our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling administrative tasks, maintaining legal documents, coordinating case files, and assisting with office operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of the firm’s day-to-day activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing legal documents, case files, and records.
- Perform data entry, file organization, and document processing.
- Coordinate with lawyers and clients for appointment scheduling and case follow-ups.
- Maintain confidentiality of legal documents and sensitive information.
- Handle email correspondence, drafting letters, and preparing reports.
- Support billing, invoicing, and basic accounting tasks if required.
- Assist in researching legal information and compiling case-related materials.
- Ensure timely updates and tracking of legal deadlines and case progress.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal software tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is an advantage.
