Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Assistance via Chat
Handle real-time customer queries through live chat support on banking portals, mobile apps, or websites.
Assist customers with account information, transaction status, product inquiries, and service requests.
Guide users through digital banking procedures such as fund transfers, mobile banking activation, card management, and internet banking registration.
2. Problem Solving and Query Resolution
Quickly understand the customer’s concern and provide accurate, timely responses.
Escalate complex queries to appropriate departments or higher-level support as per standard operating procedures.
Follow up on unresolved customer interactions to ensure closure and customer satisfaction.
3. Compliance and Security
Verify customer identity following established security protocols before sharing sensitive information.
Adhere to all data protection, compliance, and confidentiality policies set by the bank and regulators.
Avoid sharing any unauthorized information and report suspicious activity or security concerns promptly.
4. Multitasking and Documentation
Manage multiple live chat conversations simultaneously without compromising on quality or accuracy.
Document every customer interaction accurately in the internal CRM or ticketing system.
Maintain daily logs of issues handled, resolutions provided, and feedback received.
5. Customer Experience and Relationship Building
Deliver a customer-first experience by being polite, empathetic, and proactive.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell banking products like credit cards, loans, or insurance (if applicable).
Educate customers on self-service tools and digital solutions to enhance banking convenience.
