Banking Sales Executive
Job Description
Job Summary
A Banking Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling banking products and financial services to customers. This includes savings accounts, current accounts, loans, credit cards, insurance, and investment products. The role requires strong sales skills, customer relationship management, and a good understanding of banking products.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify potential customers and pitch banking products such as loans, credit cards, and savings accounts.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for banking products and services.
- Cross-sell and upsell financial products to increase customer engagement.
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Understand customer financial needs and recommend suitable banking solutions.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure loyalty and referrals.
- Provide excellent customer service to resolve banking-related queries.
3. Market Research & Lead Generation
- Conduct market research to identify sales opportunities and competitive banking trends.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital marketing.
- Organize promotional events, seminars, and campaigns to attract new customers.
4. Documentation & Compliance
- Assist customers in completing account opening, loan applications, and KYC documentation.
- Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, bank policies, and financial regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and transactions.
5. Coordination with Bank Teams
- Work closely with branch managers, relationship managers, and loan officers to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Coordinate with internal teams for loan approvals, credit analysis, and underwriting processes.
