We are seeking a skilled BIM Architect- MEP Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong architectural background with in-depth knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and proven expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM). The candidate will be responsible for coordinating MEP services, ensuring seamless integration with architectural and structural elements, and optimizing design workflows using BIM tools.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage BIM models for architectural and MEP disciplines, ensuring accuracy and coordination.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve design conflicts and enhance project efficiency.
Create detailed MEP layouts, clash detection reports, and constructability analyses.
Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks, Revit, or other BIM tools.
Ensure compliance with international BIM standards, company protocols, and project-specific requirements.
Generate MEP drawings, schedules, and BOQs from the BIM model.
Optimize BIM workflows, templates, and libraries for project efficiency.
Conduct quality checks to ensure model integrity, design accuracy, and data consistency.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging BIM technologies, and regulatory changes.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields.
3-5 years of professional experience in BIM with a strong focus on MEP systems.
Proficiency in Revit (Architecture & MEP), Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360.
Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems in BIM.
Experience in clash detection, coordination, and resolving design conflicts.
Knowledge of building codes, energy efficiency standards, and MEP industry practices.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Certification in Autodesk Revit or other BIM-related courses.
Experience in Dynamo scripting for automation in BIM workflows.
Familiarity with CDE (Common Data Environment) and BIM execution plans.
Knowledge of parametric modeling and family creation in Revit.
