Job Description
Job Title: Bioinformatics Intern
Location: Remote / Kolkata (Hybrid)
Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated Bioinformatics Intern from premier institutes (IITs, NITs, IISc, IISERs, IIITs, or other top-ranked universities) to support ongoing research and development projects in computational biology, data analysis, and genomic pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and development of bioinformatics tools and pipelines.

Analyze genomic, proteomic, and clinical datasets using modern computational techniques.

Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate bioinformatics solutions into scalable platforms.

Stay updated on recent bioinformatics methodologies and scientific advancements.

Prepare technical documentation and present findings to the project team.
Desired Candidate Profile:

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a premier institute (IITs, NITs, IISc, IIITs, IISERs, or equivalent).

Academic background in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biotechnology, Data Science, Computer Science, or Life Sciences.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.

Familiarity with NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) data analysis, sequence alignment tools, and biological databases is a plus.

Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
