A Business Development Associate is responsible for identifying business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth. This role involves market research, lead generation, sales pitching, and client management to expand the company’s reach and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Market Research
Conduct market research to identify potential customers and industry trends.
Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and online research.
Qualify leads and schedule meetings with potential clients.
2. Sales & Client Acquisition
Reach out to prospective clients via phone, email, or social media.
Present and pitch company products/services to convert leads into customers.
Build strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
3. Business Strategy & Revenue Growth
Identify new business opportunities to drive revenue and market expansion.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to execute growth strategies.
Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and performance KPIs.
4. Relationship Management & Customer Retention
Maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients and follow up consistently.
Address customer queries and provide solutions to their business needs.
Assist in negotiating contracts and closing deals.
5. Reporting & Performance Analysis
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM software.
Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor analysis.
Suggest improvements to enhance business development processes.
