Job Description
Responsibilities of a Business Development Associate - Sales:
Lead Generation and Prospecting
- Identify and research potential clients through various channels (online platforms, networking, referrals, etc.).
- Generate and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
Client Engagement
- Initiate contact with potential clients via calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
- Present company products/services and highlight their value to prospective clients.
Sales Strategy Execution
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets.
- Customize sales pitches based on client needs and industry trends.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Act as a point of contact for client queries and provide timely solutions.
Market Research and Analysis
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to identify opportunities.
- Provide insights to improve product/service offerings.
Proposal and Documentation
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, presentations, and contracts.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with sales processes.
Target Achievement
- Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Track progress against goals and adjust strategies as needed.
Collaboration and Reporting
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, product development, etc.) to align sales efforts.
- Maintain detailed records of interactions and transactions in the CRM system.
- Prepare and present periodic sales performance reports to management.
Customer Retention and Upselling
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products/services to existing clients.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
Continuous Learning
- Stay updated on industry developments, company products, and sales techniques.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
