Job Title: Business Development Executive

Job Summary: The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving the growth of the company. This role involves both strategic planning and execution of initiatives that lead to increased sales, revenue, and market share.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and Market Research:
  • Conduct research to identify new business opportunities in existing and new markets.
  • Identify potential clients, industries, and partnerships for business expansion.
  • Qualify and generate leads to build a strong pipeline.
  • Client Acquisition and Relationship Building:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target companies.
  • Present the company’s products/services to potential clients and address their needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to acquire new clients.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth:
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align efforts and maximize impact.
  • Proposal and Presentation Preparation:
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and pitches to potential clients.
  • Customize solutions and pricing based on client needs and budget.
  • Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis:
  • Monitor and analyze competitor activities to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and innovations.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions.
  • Prepare regular reports for management on business development activities and performance.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork:
  • Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, customer service, and product development to ensure customer satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Assist in the development of marketing and promotional strategies to support business development.
  • Negotiation and Closing:
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.
  • Close sales and ensure smooth transitions from negotiation to client onboarding.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Minimum 1–2years of experience in sales, business development, or related roles.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
