Key Responsibilities
Agency Recruitment
-
Identify, approach, and recruit prospective agents or advisors from local markets.

Conduct interviews, presentations, and enrollment drives to onboard new agents.

Build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates to meet recruitment targets.
Agent Training & Development
-
Provide onboarding training and product knowledge sessions to new agents.
-
Coach agents on insurance sales techniques, prospecting, lead generation, and compliance.

Conduct refresher trainings and skill development workshops regularly.
Sales & Target Achievement
-
Guide and support agents to meet individual and team sales targets.
-
Monitor agent performance using daily reports and dashboards.

Plan and execute strategies to drive premium collection and new policy issuance.
Channel Activation & Engagement
-
Ensure new agents become active producers within a defined time frame.

Motivate and incentivize agents through rewards, contests, and performance recognition programs.
-
Maintain high levels of engagement to minimize agent attrition.
Field Support
-
Accompany agents on client meetings when necessary to assist with closing deals.
-
Help resolve client objections, policy queries, or technical product doubts.

Provide support with paperwork, documentation, and proposal form completion.
Market Development
-
Conduct area mapping to identify business potential across the territory.

Collaborate with marketing teams for local events, lead generation campaigns, and community outreach.

Understand market trends and gather competitor intelligence to improve positioning.
Reporting and Documentation

Maintain accurate records of recruitment, training, agent activity, and sales performance.

Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to area or regional managers.

Track key performance indicators such as premium collection, persistency, and case size.
Compliance and Ethics
-
Ensure all agent activities comply with IRDAI (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India) regulations and company policies.

Maintain ethical sales practices and encourage the same among agents.
-
Monitor mis-selling, fraud risks, or documentation irregularities and report them appropriately.
