Position Title: Business Development Executive
Department: Sales/Business Development
Reports To: Business Development Manager/Team Leader
Location: Hybrid

Job Summary: The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth. This role involves market research, lead generation, sales presentations, and strategic planning to expand the company’s market presence and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research and Analysis:
o Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
o Analyze competitor activities and industry developments to inform business strategies.
o Prepare detailed reports and presentations on market insights and potential opportunities.

2. Lead Generation:
o Identify and generate leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and online research.
o Qualify leads to assess their potential and align with company objectives.
o Maintain a comprehensive database of leads and prospects.

3. Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
o Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
o Conduct client meetings and presentations to showcase the company’s products or services.
o Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements

4. Sales and Negotiation:
o Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve business development targets.
o Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations.
o Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients to secure deals.

5. Strategic Planning:
o Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to develop and implement strategic business plans.
o Identify and evaluate potential business partnerships and alliances.
o Monitor and report on the effectiveness of business development strategies.

6. Networking and Events:
o Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential clients and partners.
o Represent the company at various networking events to enhance its market presence.
o Organize and participate in promotional events to increase brand awareness.

7. Reporting and Documentation:
o Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and business development efforts.
o Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.
o Provide feedback and insights to improve business development strategies and processes.

Qualifications:
 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree or additional certifications in sales or business development is a plus.
 Experience: Fresher or Maximum of 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field or fresher.

 Skills:
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
o Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
o Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

 Video Conferencing: Regular use of video conferencing tools like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet for meetings, presentations, and client interactions.
 Instant Messaging: Utilize platforms like Slack, Microsoft Teams, or WhatsApp for quick communication and collaboration with team members and clients.
 Email: Efficient management of emails for professional communication and documentation. 

Regular Reporting and Meetings:
 Daily Stand-ups: Participate in daily stand-up meetings or check-ins to discuss tasks, progress, and any challenges.
 Weekly Reports: Submit weekly reports on lead generation, sales activities, and achieved targets to the Business Development Manager.
 Monthly Reviews: Engage in monthly performance reviews and strategic planning sessions with the team.
