Job Overview
A Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth. They play a key role in market research, lead generation, and sales strategy to expand the company’s customer base.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Sales
- Identify potential clients through cold calling, networking, and online research.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients.
- Present company products/services to prospective customers and close deals.
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and customer requests to convert them into sales.
2. Market Research & Strategy
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
- Analyze competitor strategies and suggest improvements.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies.
- Contribute to business planning and revenue forecasting.
3. Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships for long-term business growth.
- Handle client queries, complaints, and negotiations professionally.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction.
4. Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Maintain records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in CRM tools.
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly sales reports to management.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, etc.).
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
