Job Description

Juice making ,shake making ,sandwich making ,other cafe related items making specializes in freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices, often complemented with smoothies, bowls, and healthy snacks. It typically offers a variety of juice combinations, allowing customers to customize their drinks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Juice and Smoothie Preparation:

Prepare and serve a wide variety of freshly squeezed juices and smoothies using seasonal fruits and vegetables.
Operate juicers, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow recipes or create custom combinations based on customer preferences (e.g., detox blends, immunity boosters, energy smoothies).
Ensure fruits and vegetables are washed, peeled, and prepared hygienically.

2. Shake and Beverage Crafting:

Make a variety of milkshakes, protein shakes, and flavored beverages using dairy and non-dairy alternatives.
Mix ingredients to create tasty, nutritious drinks that are visually appealing.
Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.

3. Sandwiches and Light Snacks:

Prepare cold and grilled sandwiches, wraps, toasts, and other light café snacks.
Use fresh ingredients to create healthy and delicious food items like egg sandwiches, veggie subs, paneer rolls, or avocado toasts.
Portion, grill, and assemble items based on standard recipes or customer customization.

4. Inventory & Kitchen Management:

Maintain stock of perishable and non-perishable items (fruits, vegetables, bread, condiments, dairy, etc.).
Ensure first-in-first-out (FIFO) rotation of ingredients to avoid waste.
Monitor freshness and quality of produce daily.
Report inventory needs to the manager and help with order placement if needed.

5. Hygiene and Food Safety:

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, utensils, machines, and storage areas at all times.
Adhere to all food safety regulations, including proper storage temperatures, use of gloves, and daily cleaning schedules.
Ensure all food is prepared in a hygienic, safe, and professional manner.

6. Customer Interaction:

Take customer orders when required and provide suggestions based on preferences or dietary needs.
Explain juice or food combinations, highlighting nutritional benefits or ingredients.
Handle customer feedback positively and make adjustments as needed.

7. Innovation and Menu Development:

Recommend or create new juice, smoothie, and café item recipes that align with health trends and customer preferences.
Keep updated with emerging café trends like cold-pressed juice, superfoods, and vegan or gluten-free options.
Participate in seasonal menu updates or special promotions.
