Creating: Design custom-made desserts and pastries based on client specifications
Quality control: Check the quality of ingredients and finished items
Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, and adhere to health and safety standards
Training: Guide and motivate pastry assistants and bakers
Staffing: Identify staffing needs and help recruit and train personnel
