Job Description

1. Diagnose and Repair: Diagnose problems with vehicles using computerized diagnostic equipment and manual testing. Repair or replace faulty parts, such as brakes, engines, and transmissions.
2. Maintenance and Inspections: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and battery replacements. Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they become major issues.
3. Test and Quality Check: Test vehicles to ensure repairs are complete and meet quality standards. Check vehicles for any additional problems or issues.
4. Customer Communication: Communicate with customers to explain problems, repairs, and maintenance requirements. Provide estimates and obtain approval before starting work
5. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections. Update customer records and vehicle histories.
6. Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Follow safety procedures and protocols when working with vehicles and equipment.
