Overall Purpose of the Role:

• To deliver to all our customers, a warm, genuine, fun and memorable experience which goes that extra mile.
  
• To prepare, present and serve the tastiest chicken in a relaxing environment where our customers feel at home and part of the Nando’s family
  

Key Responsibilities:

• To welcome all customers to Nando’s explaining our service style and menu in a warm and friendly manner. Ensure seating at tables is handled efficiently and customers are kept informed of wait times
  
• To process food orders accurately through the bill system, taking the relevant payment and deliver any drinks and appetisers
  
• To be aware of and to react to, every customer’s specific needs (i.e. desserts, coffees, extra items), ensuring all our customers have a great Nando’s experience. To treat all as you would want to be treated
  
• To co-ordinate dishes from both front and back grill, produce cold products to Nando’s standards, ensuring it is delivered to the waiting customers table efficiently and accurately
  
• To ensure all food products are stored and rotated as per Nando’s standard
  
• To ensure that the restaurant is kept clean at all times (tables, floors, condiment units, toilets, etc) whilst carrying out all daily and weekly cleaning schedules
  
• To set up and close down the restaurant to the standards agreed by the management team
  
• To work as a team, supporting each other and welcoming new members to the family
  
• To comply with all reasonable requests from a member of the Management Team
  
• To have Health & Safety responsibility for:
  
• Your own health and safety and that of others
  
• Reporting any accidents to the manager on duty
  
• Follow the training you have been given
  
• Advising the manager on duty of any faulty equipment or matters that could affect the Health and Safety of others
  
• To demonstrate and encourage behaviours that foster the Nando’s values of Pride, Passion, Courage, Integrity & Family
