Operate cash registers and manage transactions with customers
Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
Collect payments whether in cash, credit, or debit
Issue receipts, refunds, or changes
Redeem stamps and coupons
Bag, box or wrap packages
Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
Keep track of transactions and suggest improvements
Strong attention to detail
Basic math skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly
