Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CCTV & Attendance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems and attendance management solutions. This role requires expertise in both CCTV technology and attendance tracking systems, as well as strong technical aptitude and customer service skills.
Job Summary:
A CCTV and Attendance Engineer is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV surveillance systems and biometric attendance systems. They ensure the security infrastructure and time-tracking solutions function efficiently, providing support for hardware, software, and network integration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Installation & Configuration
- Install and set up CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and biometric attendance machines.
- Configure security systems, including remote access and live monitoring features.
- Integrate attendance machines with payroll or HR management software.
2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform regular maintenance checks on CCTV and attendance systems.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to cameras, cables, biometric scanners, and software.
- Ensure backup and storage of surveillance footage as per company policies.
3. Networking & System Integration
- Connect CCTV and attendance devices to local networks or cloud-based platforms.
- Ensure smooth data transmission between attendance machines and HR software.
- Work with IT teams to integrate security systems with access control solutions.
4. Security & Compliance
- Implement data security measures to protect surveillance footage and attendance records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations regarding surveillance.
- Provide user training on system usage and best practices.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Generate reports on attendance data, security incidents, and system performance.
- Update documentation on system configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
