Chemist Trainee
No. of Post : 13
Qualification : M.Sc. (Chemistry) preferably in
Analytical Chemistry in First Class with
60% marks (Full Time course) from a
recognized Indian University/ Institute.
Experience : Should have minimum one year relevant
post qualification work experience/one
year post qualification apprenticeship
training (in a relevant field) in a
Refining/ Petroleum/ Power/ Lube/
Petrochemical / Fertilizer /Chemical
Industry, of repute.
Scale of Pay : Rs.13,500-31,000/-
Operator Trainee
No. of Post : 12
Qualification : First Class Diploma in Chemical
Engineering/Technology (Full time
course approved by AICTE) with 60%
marks from a recognized Indian
University/ Institute.
Experience : Should have minimum 5 years’ post
qualification experience in
operation/process in a large
petrochemical plant or a major
petrochemical unit within a petroleum
refinery. The period of apprenticeship
training shall also be considered against
experience.
Scale of Pay : Rs.13,500-31,000/-
General Workman-B
(Trainee)
No. of Posts : 122 (Chemical-63, Mechanical-32,
Electrical-10, Instrumentation-17)
Qualification : First Class Diploma in relevant discipline (Full time course
approved by AICTE) with 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/
Institute.
Experience : Should have minimum one year relevant
post qualification work experience/one
year post qualification apprenticeship
training (in a relevant field) under the
Apprenticeship Act, 1961 in a Refining/
Petroleum/ Power/ Lube/
Petrochemical/ Fertilizer Industry, of
repute.
Scale of Pay : Rs.11,500-20,000/-
Age Limit : Minimum
18 years and maximum 30 years as on 0 1 .10.2018 for General candidates, upper
age relaxable (wherever reservation is applicable) by 5 years for SC/ST and 3
years for OBC(NCL) candidates against the indicative reserved posts.
Selection Procedure : Written Test/ Skill Test/ Pre-Employment
Medical Test.
