Job Summary
A Civil Engineer (Fresher) is responsible for assisting in the planning, designing, and execution of construction projects. This role involves site supervision, project coordination, quality control, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in civil engineering principles, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn on the job.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Supervision & Project Execution:
- Assist senior engineers in site inspections and project execution.
- Ensure construction activities comply with design plans and safety standards.
- Monitor progress and report issues to project managers.
2. Structural Design & Planning:
- Support in preparing structural designs, drawings, and blueprints.
- Assist in quantity estimation and material selection.
- Work with architects and contractors to implement project plans.
3. Quality Control & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure construction materials meet quality and industry standards.
- Conduct safety checks and follow environmental regulations.
- Report any potential risks or hazards at the construction site.
4. Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain project records, reports, and daily logs.
- Prepare progress reports and submit them to senior engineers.
- Assist in preparing tenders and project proposals.
5. Learning & Development:
- Stay updated with the latest construction technologies and industry trends.
- Gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, and other design software.
- Work under senior engineers to enhance practical knowledge and skills.
