Job Description
Ø Analyze photographs, drawings and maps to inform the direction of projects as well as the overall budget constraints.
Ø Ensure project feasibility through continual evaluation of structural integrity and design practicality.
Ø Create designs that utilize a variety of materials.
Ø Perform and adjust quantity calculations for practical and budgetary purposes.
Ø Communicate with team members as well as clients and vendors to ensure maximum cohesion and fluidity on projects.
Ø Forecast design and construction time frames.
Ø Inspect project sites to ensure they meet relevant codes and are progressing properly.
Ø Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and the pricing of materials.
Ø Gathering data, compiling reports and delivering presentations to relevant stakeholders.
Ø Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.
Ø Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members and clients.
Ø Daily administration of the site, comprising supervision as well as observing the site workforce as well as the work of some sub-contractors.
Ø Solving technical problems with organization’s representatives, providers, sub-contractors as well as relevant authorities.
Ø Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team.
