Cloud Engineer Lead plan and develop Agile and cost effective, Public Cloud technical architecture based on review of current client environments and scenario analysis. You will collaborate closely with technology counterparts, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment, management, and governance of cloud-based services. The role is required to work with clients to assess current state processes and tools, identify Cloud platform solution options, define Cloud solution requirements, determine and define integration requirements, and develop overall architecture and implementation plans. Oversee implementation of scalable, high performance hosting solutions, leveraging IaaS and PaaS, that meet the need of today’s corporate and digital applications using Hybrid Cloud technologies.
•Minimum 3-4 years of experience managing 5 or more Cloud Team L3 level members •Must have excellent oral and written communication/presentation/ negotiation skills. •Minimum 8-10 years of experience designing solution architecture for large AWS & Azure platforms •Develop and Maintain Cloud Strategy •Design and Implement Cloud Architecture in AWS & Azure platforms: •Establish cloud governance •Very familiar with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Git / GitOps, and very comfortable working with cloud native solutions. We use most IaC tools here in various places - Terraform, AWS CDK, Cloud Formation, and Python to name a few. •Drive the industrialization of solutioning activities and requirements into the operating model via solution build deliverables. •Engaging presentation style, with the ability to control and manage multiple presentation scenarios •Experience with Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment (CICD) processes is a plus •Knowledge of GxP process is a plus •Guide organization on cloud evolution and journey to digital transformation •As needed, support delivery lead in significant re-planning effort during delivery. In particular, when there is scope change, or at the end a stage, where significant re-planning is required. •As needed, support solution owner in updating the Solution Plan. In particular, when there is a change in the service strategy, scope change, or where significant re-planning is required
