Collection Agent
Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Collection Agent to join our loan recovery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for contacting customers to remind them about due/overdue payments and ensuring timely recovery in a professional and ethical manner.
Key Responsibilities:-
Contact customers via phone calls, WhatsApp, SMS, and emails regarding pending dues or missed EMIs.

Follow up with customers and ensure payments are collected within the stipulated time frame.

Maintain proper documentation and record of all interactions and payment commitments.

Educate customers about the importance of timely repayment and the consequences of defaulting (including penalties, CIBIL impact, legal action).

Resolve queries or disputes in a calm and professional manner.

Escalate chronic defaulters to the legal/field recovery team as per policy.

Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly recovery targets.

Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection guidelines.

Minimum 12th pass; graduates preferred.

Prior experience in loan collections or BPO/telecalling preferred.

Good communication skills in Hindi and basic English.

Familiarity with mobile apps and payment platforms.

Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.

Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.

Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, CRM tools).
