Job Description
The Collection Executive is responsible for tracking, managing, and collecting outstanding payments from customers, handling accounts that have overdue balances. This role requires effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to ensure the recovery of debts in a timely and professional manner. The Collection Executive will liaise with customers to resolve payment issues, handle disputes, and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:Account Monitoring:
- Regularly review accounts with overdue payments.
- Follow up with customers through calls, emails, or letters to remind them of their overdue debts.
- Track payment schedules and ensure compliance with agreed payment terms.
Collection Activities:
- Contact customers to collect payments on overdue invoices.
- Negotiate payment plans with customers when necessary.
- Resolve payment disputes and issues by working with both customers and internal teams.
Customer Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding overdue payments.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers while discussing overdue balances.
- Offer solutions for payment arrangements or extensions when appropriate.
