We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Construction Site Supervisor to lead our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction site management, with expertise in interpreting building plans, ensuring safety standards, and solving on-site challenges. You will play a critical role in managing resources, coordinating activities, and maintaining smooth operations across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Inspection: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, construction standards, and project timelines.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and guide the construction team, ensuring work is completed according to design specifications and quality standards.
- Material and Equipment Management: Maintain an accurate record of materials and equipment on site, ensuring the timely ordering and delivery of supplies.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with the project manager and architects to ensure that the construction process aligns with project plans, design specifications, and safety protocols.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise on-site, whether related to construction challenges, material shortages, or delays, ensuring minimal impact on the project timeline.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety standards and ensure that all workers are adhering to the relevant construction safety regulations and building codes.
- Quality Control: Review and approve work done by the construction team to ensure it meets the necessary quality and design standards.
- Operational Efficiency: Recommend improvements to construction operations and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the timely completion of projects.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Educational Background: A diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, with hands-on experience in managing construction projects. Fresher’s can also apply.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and materials. Familiarity with construction methods, techniques, and regulations.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Ability to interpret and understand construction plans and drawings accurately.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address and resolve on-site challenges efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring all aspects of the construction process meet project requirements.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage the construction team and to communicate with architects, engineers, contractors.
