Job Description

To monitor labour, construction material, day to day activities in construction. He should have atleast 2-3 years of experience in construction field. Keep record of material consumption. Monitor curing. Report to Engineer incharge.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Supervision & Project Execution

Supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure work is progressing according to project timelines, plans, and specifications.
Coordinate daily tasks with site workers, subcontractors, and vendors.
Monitor work schedules, attendance, and productivity of labor teams.
Oversee the delivery and use of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Report daily progress to the Project Manager and escalate issues when needed.

2. Quality Assurance

Ensure all construction work meets the highest quality standards and follows approved plans, blueprints, and building codes.
Conduct regular inspections to identify defects, unsafe work, or deviations from design.
Review and verify work done by subcontractors before approving payment or moving to the next phase.

3. Safety & Compliance

Enforce safety procedures and ensure that workers adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Conduct daily safety briefings and toolbox talks.
Identify and address hazards immediately; report accidents or violations to the appropriate authority.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.

4. Team Leadership

Lead and motivate construction crews and subcontractors to perform efficiently.
Assign tasks based on skill levels, priority, and workload.
Train new workers on site procedures and safety protocols.
Foster a positive, respectful, and productive work culture.

5. Communication & Coordination

Liaise between architects, engineers, consultants, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth workflow.
Attend regular site meetings and communicate project updates or concerns.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and avoid delays.

6. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of site activities, work completed, labor hours, and material usage.
Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
Document incidents, changes, and delays with proper justification.
Track inventory and request materials or tools as needed.
