Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Corporate Electrical Supervisor/Operations to oversee the electrical systems and operations for our corporate facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supporting the day-to-day electrical needs of the organization. This role will work closely with facility management, contractors, and the engineering team to ensure that electrical operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the electrical maintenance team, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, equipment, and wiring in corporate facilities.
- Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage electrical project installations, including upgrades, renovations, and new system setups.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systems and equipment.
- Monitor electrical consumption and work with relevant departments to optimize energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Respond to electrical emergencies and system failures, coordinating with external contractors if necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of electrical inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., facilities, construction, engineering) to ensure electrical needs are met for office and operational space.
- Conduct regular training for staff on electrical safety, energy management, and equipment handling.
- Stay updated on the latest technological advancements in electrical systems and energy efficiency, making recommendations for system upgrades when necessary.
- Prepare and manage the electrical budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and adherence to financial constraints.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience in electrical operations, supervision, or facilities management (minimum 5 years).
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and safety protocols.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with energy-saving technologies and sustainability practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents.
- Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment and tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Should have a Hands-on Experience to work with MS - Excel & Base Knowledge in Budget and Tracking
