Job Description
Job profile:
1. Evaluation of credit worthiness of organisations basis Balance sheet and other financials
2. Regular customer interaction to gain business insights and thereby gather relevant data points
3. Interacting with the credit team of Banks/ NBFCs to present credit notes and satisfactory resolution of corresponding queries
4. Oversee deals end to end upto proposal fulfilment and loan disbursement
Point to note: Our location is in Mulund, Mumbai. The candidate has to be willing to travel to this location.
Key Responsibilities
Credit Assessment

Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of individuals, businesses, or institutions applying for loans, credit facilities, or financing.

Evaluate financial statements, cash flow reports, tax returns, and other relevant documents to determine creditworthiness.

Analyze credit reports from agencies such as CIBIL, Experian, Equifax, or CRIF to assess repayment history and outstanding debts.

Assign internal credit ratings based on risk factors, financial performance, industry benchmarks, and market conditions.
Reporting and Recommendation

Prepare detailed credit analysis reports and present findings to the credit committee or senior management.

Recommend credit limits, interest rates, repayment terms, or collateral requirements based on risk assessment.

Draft clear and concise memos or credit proposals with justifications for approval or rejection.
Risk Monitoring and Portfolio Management

Monitor existing credit accounts for changes in financial condition, delayed payments, or defaults.

Identify potential risks in the loan portfolio and escalate issues where necessary.

Recommend appropriate actions for underperforming accounts, such as restructuring, additional collateral, or recovery strategies.

Participate in periodic reviews of customer portfolios to ensure risk exposure is within company limits.
Compliance and Policy Adherence

Ensure all credit evaluations are conducted in accordance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.

Stay informed of changes in industry regulations, credit rating methodologies, and compliance frameworks.

Maintain accurate records of all assessments, decisions, and supporting documents for audit purposes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with the sales, relationship management, and collections teams to ensure proper client onboarding and credit control.

Assist in structuring credit products tailored to customer needs while managing risk exposure.

Provide insights and feedback to improve credit policies, scoring models, and risk management practices.
