Job Summary:
A CASA (Current Account & Savings Account) Sales Officer is responsible for acquiring new customers, promoting banking products, and increasing deposits by selling current and savings accounts. This role involves client acquisition, relationship management, and meeting sales targets for the bank.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and approach potential customers to open Current and Savings Accounts.
- Conduct field visits, cold calls, and networking to generate leads.
- Promote additional banking services like debit cards, mobile banking, and digital payments.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Understand customer needs and offer suitable banking solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with individual and business clients.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through prompt support and follow-ups.
Market Research & Strategy:
- Stay updated on banking trends, competitor products, and customer preferences.
- Suggest new strategies to increase CASA sales and improve customer acquisition.
- Collaborate with the marketing team for promotional campaigns.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure proper documentation and KYC (Know Your Customer) compliance for all accounts.
- Maintain records of customer interactions, account openings, and sales performance.
- Follow bank policies and regulatory guidelines in all transactions.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-3+ years in banking sales, CASA acquisition, or financial services.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and persuasion skills.
- Ability to generate leads and meet sales targets.
- Good understanding of banking products and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
