Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service Associate to handle customer inquiries, provide solutions, and ensure excellent service. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-first approach.
Responds to customer inquiries by understanding inquiry; reviewing previous inquiries and responses; gathering and researching information; assembling and forwarding information; verifying customer's understanding of information and answer.
Good communication in English
Fluency in Tamil / Malayalam
Plus Two / Graduates

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Support:

    • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in-person, providing accurate and timely information about products, services, and policies.

    • Address customer concerns, provide solutions, and ensure a positive resolution to any issues or complaints.

    • Handle a high volume of customer interactions while maintaining quality service and professionalism.

  2. Order Processing and Assistance:

    • Assist customers with placing, modifying, and canceling orders.

    • Help customers track their orders, resolve shipping issues, and provide updates on delivery status.

    • Ensure accurate entry of customer information and orders into the company's system.

  3. Issue Resolution:

    • Troubleshoot customer issues related to product functionality, technical problems, returns, exchanges, billing, and refunds.

    • Provide solutions in a clear and patient manner, ensuring that the customer's experience is positive, even when addressing problems.

    • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, technical support, logistics) to resolve complex customer issues.

  4. Customer Engagement:

    • Engage with customers in a friendly and empathetic manner, creating a positive impression of the company.

    • Build strong relationships with customers to foster brand loyalty and repeat business.

    • Follow up with customers after issue resolution to ensure satisfaction and maintain strong relationships.

  5. Product Knowledge:

    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s products, services, and policies in order to assist customers effectively.

    • Provide recommendations based on customer preferences, needs, or purchase history.

  6. Complaint Handling and Escalation:

    • Address customer complaints with a calm and empathetic approach, aiming to resolve them in a manner that benefits both the customer and the company.

    • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate department or higher-level management.

    • Keep accurate records of customer complaints, resolutions, and suggestions for process improvement.

  7. Feedback Collection:

    • Actively listen to customer feedback and relay useful insights to the management team for product or service improvements.

    • Provide feedback on recurring customer issues or challenges to help the company enhance its customer service operations.

  8. Administrative Support:

    • Perform data entry, maintain customer records, and update information in the company's CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.

    • Generate reports related to customer interactions, feedback, and service performance for internal review.

  9. Maintain Service Standards:

    • Meet or exceed the company’s established customer service metrics, such as response time, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution rate.

    • Adhere to company policies and procedures for customer interactions, ensuring consistency and quality in all customer service practices.
