Job Description for Customer Service Representative
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional service to customers (teachers and dealers), managing queries, and maintaining accurate records of book sampling, sales, inventory, and customer interactions. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage data entry tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service Support:
○ Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat.
○ Follow up with customers to confirm their details and enter them correctly in CRM.
○ Assist customers with product selection, order placements, and tracking.
○ Manage book orders, returns, and refunds according to company policies.
2. Data Entry and Order Processing:
○ Accurately enter customer details, inventory data, and sales information into the company’s CRM or data management system.
○ Maintain updated and accurate records of customer profiles and transaction history.
○ Review and ensure data integrity, making corrections where necessary..
3. Collaboration and Reporting:
○ Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure smooth communication and assist in promotional activities.
○ Generate and provide regular sales reports to management.
○ Participate in team meetings and share insights to improve customer service processes.
Qualifications and Skills
● Intermediate or a Bachelor’s Degree (Freshers can also apply)
● Previous experience in customer service and/or data entry roles, will be preferred but is not mandatory.
● Strong typing and data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must in English and Hindi
● Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
