Job Description

Enter and update patient records, billing details, and hospital data.
 
Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of information.
 
Generate reports and ensure data integrity.
 
Coordinate with hospital staff for record management.

Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ Patient & Medical Data Entry

  • Enter patient details, medical history, and doctor’s prescriptions into the hospital system.

  • Maintain and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) and patient databases.

  • Ensure all patient data is entered accurately and in a timely manner.

2️⃣ Billing & Insurance Processing

  • Enter billing information, payments, and insurance claims.

  • Assist in verifying and processing insurance documents and approvals.

  • Generate invoices, receipts, and payment records for hospital services.

3️⃣ Documentation & Record Maintenance

  • Manage hospital admission, discharge, and appointment records.

  • Maintain digital and physical records of medical reports, test results, and prescriptions.

  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive medical data in compliance with hospital policies.

4️⃣ Coordination & Reporting

  • Work closely with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure accurate data management.

  • Assist in generating daily, weekly, and monthly hospital reports.

  • Cross-check and validate data entries for errors and inconsistencies.

5️⃣ Software & System Management

  • Operate Hospital Management System (HMS), MS Excel, Google Sheets, and database tools.

  • Ensure backup and security of patient records and hospital data.
