A Delivery Associate is responsible for delivering packages, products, or food items to customers safely, accurately, and on time. Key Responsibilities:

Pickup and Delivery:

Collect parcels or goods from the warehouse, restaurant, or dispatch point as per assigned schedule.

Deliver items to customers at specified addresses within the given timeframe.

Follow the best and safest delivery routes using maps or navigation apps.

Customer Interaction:

Greet customers politely at the time of delivery.

Obtain digital or physical signatures when required as proof of delivery.

Communicate clearly with customers in case of delays, address changes, or delivery concerns.

Package Handling:

Handle parcels and goods with care to avoid any damage during transit.

Ensure that the right package is delivered to the right customer by cross-checking details.

Maintain cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle or bike.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain delivery logs or use mobile apps to confirm completed deliveries.

Report any delivery issues, such as delays, address problems, or customer complaints, to the supervisor.

Return undelivered items to the appropriate department if delivery cannot be completed.

Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance:

Ensure regular maintenance and cleanliness of the delivery vehicle or bike.

Check fuel levels, tire pressure, and overall condition before each trip.

Report any mechanical issues or breakdowns immediately.
