Job Description

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Delivery Boy to deliver packages, food, or other goods to customers on time and in good condition. The ideal candidate should have a valid driving license, good navigation skills, and a customer-friendly attitude. This role involves pickup and delivery, route planning, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Pick up and deliver products to customers in a timely manner.

Ensure that products are handled with care to avoid damage.

Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules.

Keep track of delivery status and provide updates to the dispatcher.

Collect payments and handle returns as needed.

Maintain delivery vehicle in good working condition.

Follow company guidelines and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pickup & Delivery:

Collect packages from the designated warehouse, restaurant, or store.
Deliver items to customers at their specified location within the expected time.
Ensure items are delivered in perfect condition and follow delivery guidelines.

2. Route Planning & Navigation:

Plan efficient routes to complete deliveries quickly.
Use Google Maps or GPS for accurate navigation.
Adapt to traffic conditions and choose the best alternative routes.

3. Customer Interaction & Service:

Greet customers politely and hand over deliveries professionally.
Collect cash/card payments when required and ensure accurate transactions.
Address customer queries or issues related to deliveries.

4. Safety & Compliance:

Follow traffic laws and safety regulations while riding/driving.
Handle fragile or perishable items carefully to prevent damage.
Maintain proper hygiene and vehicle cleanliness.

5. Reporting & Documentation:

Update delivery status in the mobile app or system.
Report any delays, missing items, or delivery issues to the supervisor.
Keep track of daily deliveries and payments collected.
