Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Executive to join our team. As a Delivery Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring that products are delivered to customers in a timely, efficient, and professional manner. You will be the face of our company and play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be punctual, organized, and able to work independently while maintaining excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Delivery:
- Pick up and deliver products, goods, or packages to customers at their specified locations.
- Ensure that deliveries are completed within the stipulated time frame and maintain a high level of punctuality.
- Follow the planned delivery route to ensure timely delivery and efficient fuel use.
Customer Interaction:
- Interact with customers in a polite, friendly, and professional manner.
- Address any customer concerns or issues promptly and ensure a positive delivery experience.
- Confirm delivery details, including customer signatures or other documentation as required.
Package Handling and Documentation:
- Ensure packages are safely loaded, stored, and transported without damage.
- Maintain proper records of deliveries, including delivery time, route taken, and any issues or customer feedback.
- Ensure all necessary documentation, such as delivery receipts, signatures, and payment records, is completed and submitted.
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Maintain the delivery vehicle in a clean and operational condition, performing regular checks on fuel, tire pressure, and overall vehicle health.
- Report any vehicle issues to management or the vehicle maintenance team to ensure timely repairs.
Route Planning:
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and minimum delays.
- Use navigation tools or apps to assist in following routes and overcoming traffic challenges or detours.
- Stay updated on any road closures, traffic conditions, or other relevant changes to routes.
Inventory and Stock Management:
- Assist with inventory management, ensuring that the right products are loaded and delivered according to customer orders.
- Handle returns, exchanges, or pickups as per company policies.
- Check product quality and quantity during loading to prevent delivery errors.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to traffic laws, company safety regulations, and all applicable laws while driving.
- Ensure the vehicle is properly secured, especially when transporting fragile or valuable goods.
- Maintain safety standards during the loading, unloading, and delivery process.
Timely Reporting:

Report any delivery delays or customer complaints to the management team.
Provide accurate delivery logs, including times, distances traveled, and any issues encountered.

Preferred Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Knowledge of local areas, traffic patterns, and road networks.
Ability to lift heavy packages (based on company requirements).
